Your conversations stay on your device

No uploads. No backend processing. No account.

Your .txt or .zip is parsed directly in your browser. Your conversation doesn't need to be uploaded to a server, it even works offline once the page is loaded, and nothing is kept when you close the tab.

Client-side processing

Files are parsed locally in a Web Worker without freezing the UI. No backend is required to process conversations.

Virtualized rendering

Only visible messages are rendered, so conversations with hundreds of thousands of messages stay smooth.

On-demand media

The .zip is read with random access: each photo is extracted only when it scrolls into view, without loading everything into memory.

Privacy by architecture

There is no server to receive data, and the site security policy blocks sending anything out.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. This site is just a static page. The file is read by your browser and is never sent anywhere.

Which files can I open?

The .txt exported by WhatsApp (without media) or the .zip (with media). It works with Android and iPhone exports in English, Portuguese and other languages.

Why are photos not showing?

If you exported "Without media", the file has no photos. Export again choosing "Include media" and open the .zip.

How does the site know who I am in the chat?

The WhatsApp file does not say. After opening, pick your name and your messages will show in green on the right.

Does it handle very large chats?

Yes. Parsing runs in the background and only visible messages are drawn, so chats with hundreds of thousands of messages open fast.

How do I create the PDF?

Click "Export PDF", choose whether to include images and select "Save as PDF" in the print dialog.
